Ride it now. Figure out what fits. Build from there.
Duotone Electric is already on the water in North Texas. DFW Surf has two working DTE systems, eight batteries, multiple Midfish sizes, a 130 L Skybrid, foil options, ION impact vests and ION helmets ready for guided demo and progression sessions.
You do not have to wait for the next generation to find out whether DTE changes your riding. Ride the current system now, learn what works for your weight and goals, then decide what belongs in your setup.

Ride it now
First flights
We can build a stable setup around a larger board and forgiving foil so the motor helps you learn instead of simply adding more power to a difficult setup.
Already foil?
Move toward smaller boards, more efficient foils and an Assist-focused session so you can feel what powered takeoff changes without losing the foil experience you already know.
Wake, swell and open water
DTE gets especially interesting when the motor solves a specific problem: getting onto foil, returning for another run, reaching rolling energy or making marginal conditions worth riding.
Assist or Cruise?
Foil Assist
Use the motor to reach the ride. Assist is the direction for wake, prone, swell, downwind and experienced riders who want propulsion when they need it and conventional foil feel once flying.
Foil Cruise
Keep propulsion in the ride. Cruise is the direction for learning, flatwater exploration and riders who want sustained powered flight.
You do not need to know which one you need before contacting us. That is part of the demo.
Boards & foils we can put under you
Skybrid 130 L
Stable, efficient and confidence-building when accessibility matters more than minimizing board size.
Midfish 98 L
A strong bridge between stability and efficiency for riders who still want useful volume.
Midfish 58 L and smaller Midfish setups
For experienced riders who want a more direct, performance-oriented Assist feel.
Foil direction matters too: larger forgiving foils for first flights, Free 2.0 for progression, Glide 3.0 for efficiency and carrying energy, and Crest for a more responsive surf-oriented setup.
The goal is not to prove you can ride the smallest board or fastest foil. The goal is to make the system work for the session you actually want.
Already own a foil?
You may not need to replace it. The aluminum Duotone Electric platform supports multiple foil ecosystems through the correct adapter or fuselage solution.
DFW Surf gives particular attention to Duotone, Lift, North, Code, AFS and Armstrong, with additional compatibility available for other major brands.
The next 10 Ah systems are coming
The upcoming 10 Ah generation brings longer runtime, updated 2.0 hardware and new AL, D/LAB and HT system options.
But you do not need to preorder blind. Ride DTE now. Learn whether Assist or Cruise fits you. Figure out the board and foil direction that actually works. Then, when the 10 Ah systems arrive, you already know what you are buying and why.
